Today we talked about Groundhogs day. We learned that groundhogs are rodents. Groundhogs hibernate. They also like to eat vegetables. We predicted if the groundhog would see his shadow or if he wouldn't see his shadow. Eight of us said he would not see his shadow and three of us said he would see his shadow. Then we watched a video of the groundhog. OH NO! He saw his shadow. That means six more weeks of winter. We made a groundhog hat and a groundhog puppet. We also read a book about groundhogs. We made a groundhog seeing his shadow too. We also labelled a picture of a groundhog.
