Numbers

Today we practiced counting, writing numbers and we talked about more and less. We sang some songs about the numbers 1 through 10 and we used our whole bodies to make the numbers. We used connecting cubes to make a tower with a certain number; then we counted the cubes using one to one correspondence. The best part was writing numbers in shaving cream. Mrs. Miller showed us how to write the number on the board and then we used our finger to write the number. At the end we were able to draw or write whatever we wanted to in the shaving cream. We also took 5 jumps on the trampoline.

Musical instruments

In Kindergarten we work on following directions, listening and sharing. This week we played musical instruments and marched around the room. When Mrs. Miller said stop we had to stop and trade the instrument with a friend. We worked on not being upset if we didn't get the one we wanted. This was a lot of fun and we did a great job with listening, following directions and sharing.
