Christmas Fun

We have been doing lots of fun and educational things to get ready for Christmas.

Reindeer looking in the window
We followed directions to make these silly reindeer. The reindeer are trying to look into our houses to see if we left them any carrots.

Our Elf is named George and today he decided to zip line across the room. Be careful, George.

Candy Cane Investigation
We talked about our 5 senses and how we could use them to describe a candy cane. We smelled it, touched it, listened to the sound it made when we took a bite, tasted it and looked at it. Yummy!

Reindeer Chow
We made reindeer chow. We used mini marshmallows, m&m's, chex cereal, animal crackers and pretzels. We mixed them all together and then Mrs. Miller gave us a scoop of the chow. We sorted each item and counted how many we had of each. After we wrote the number we ate our reindeer chow.

                                                             George the Elf
George the Elf moved around alot on the last day. He left us some presents and told us how he really enjoyed being in our classroom.
