Odd Todd and Even Steven

We have been learning about odd and even numbers in math. An even number ends in 0, 2, 4, 6, and 8. An odd number ends in 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9. We read a story called Odd Todd and Even Steven. In the story, Even Steven only liked even things: 4 pancakes, 2 dogs, 8 plants, etc. And Odd Todd only liked odd things: 3 pancakes, 5 plates, and 9 plants. Even Steven likes things neat and in order and Odd Todd likes things messy. After the story we made our own Even Steven and Odd Todd.  We also sorted numbers by even and odd numbers.
