In Preschool we are learning about insects. We have learned that insects have 3 body parts: head, thorax, and abdomen. That they have 6 legs and 2 antenna. Some insects have wings and some do not. We have learned that spiders are not insects because they have 2 body parts and 8 legs. We have sorted bugs by the kind of bug, and colors. We have sorted bugs from flowers. We drew pictures of bugs and pretended to catch bugs in a jar. We have made spiders. We made ant headbands. We will continue learning about insects next week.
